TUNE ECU MAP???? 900 Scrambler 2013 (EFI)

Hello guys,

First up, apologies for possibly repeat type of posting

I'm a recent owner of the above bike, I have dropped the oil and filter. Fiddled and changed the awkward plugs. It has the tec 2-1 high side (desert) exhaust fitted and I'm not sure the mapping was adjusted after the previous owner installed it.

The AI seems to have been taken off, but some popping still exists. Have bought the recommended lead and loaded up its drivers and have downloaded the TuneECU programme and maps.

I have looked on the forum and read the Dummies guide to install and operation, but chickening out when it comes to the deciding on the actual map. I'm a technophobe with stuff like this but willing to learn. Give me spanners any day of the week.

Anyway my VIN is SMTTJ9178GD573099 if that helps.

So what map?? Any takers? 🤔😅 Ive got these choices (below) but as far as I can tell my VIN number doesn't match either options? Am I reading it wrong? Last six figures Im guessing?

Yep you know I blinking well realised that not long after the post looking in the wrong folder. Instructions for dummies too difficult I need instructions for bell ends. 🙄
Also I did get on the job and blow me the geezer who had the bike when the 2-1 was done had the correct map anyway. So almost but not quite a waste of time.
need to see what else the software can do. Thanks guys 👌

You're looking in the wrong folder, those VIN's are for the water cooled models, you need the air cooled models.
