any lower production item WILL cost more but many riders are happy that someone made an option!! unless techbikeparts makes a system it will be spendy IMO

Hey guys, first post, just wondering about slip-ons, in Australia so get the dumbed down version of the Trident but can't wait to get it in the next few weeks.
Agree with some of the comments here re $$ for full exhaust on a cheaper bike so wondering if the more economical slip-ons will still improve sound, definitely will improve aesthetics for example the Delkevic below.
Opinions appreciated.

the muffler & cat are one so a full exhaust has to be done unless you can cut the muffler & car out and weld a slip-on on.

here is what trident exhaust looks like, don’t think a slip in is possible.
if someone wanted to take on the task of building a custom one, it looks like it could be done. You could do a “slip on” but it would require cutting the factory exhaust

If I owned a Trident that gawdy exhaust would b first thing to go.
I like the GPR powerline evo, that's a great deal for a whole system, great weight savings too...FTG

Any idea if the Akrapovic MT09 full systems will fit the Trident? I have been waiting for Akra to release a system but its been months and it doesn't seem like they are going to release one so if it fits I might as well go with the MT09 one

I can guarantee you it won’t….

Yamaha uses round header port, Triumph a "D" shaped. They will mount in completely different locations, be tuned completely different. Probably completely different lengths. Not to mention the cylinder spacing is probably different as are the bolt patterns on the cylinder head.

Just get one that is already developed for the Trident.
