Hi Guys
I'm new to Triumph motorcycles and to this forum. Sadly, my Triumph experience didn't start as I would have liked. I bought the Speed Triple 1200 RS and before reaching the first warranty at 1000km (I'm from Switzerland, we don't do imperial ) I already have two quality issues:
1. Same problem with the exhaust cover like described here: 2022 Speed Triple 1200 - Exhaust valve cover gone missing | Triumph Rat Motorcycle Forums
My mechanic warned me before I bought the bike about this because it had already fallen off his demo bike. Apparently, he has ordered a complete exhaust because the part that broke off was welded on. Apparently, exhausts are currently not available (what a surprise 😜).
2. Quickshifter: The quickshifter doesn't always work. It seems like as soon as the bike gets warm, the quickshifter quits its duty and I have to use the clutch for changing gears. Sadly, there are no error messages displayed on the bike. The issue was reported to Triumph two weeks ago, they don't seem to have an answer yet.
Does anyone else have any issues like this with their new Speed Triple?
Best regards,
Marc
