I bought my T120 new in 2016 from Preferred Power Sports, Brewerton, NY (Just north of Syracuse). I give them high marks. They've been very good at handling recalls, and warranty issues.
I like to do my own oil changes, and other small maintenance tasks, but, if the motor or transmission needs to be opened up, or tires changed, I'll leave that to the dealer. The T120 oil change is simplicity itself. Quick to perform, and not messy at all. You just need a cup type oil filter removal tool.

Wow! I just bought a Street Twin and I live in Utica, so I'll be taking my bike too Preferred Power Sports for service. You mentioned you do oil service by yourself... How do you clear service lights?

Have an issue with my gear shift shaft (my guess), won't go into gear. I lost the back end taking a corner.. still don't know what happened, first time I have ever been down on a street bike, probably going too slow? Bent up the shifter and skinned my knee. Had protective gear except... you guessed it, my jeans. Yes, yes that is my next purchase.
I'm into the clutch, just waiting for my socket and breaker bar delivery to remove the clutch basket, then I need to compile a list of parts for reassembly (depending on what I find inside).
I don't want to muck this up but I also don't want to tow it into the dealer. I enjoy working on the bike myself, but it would sure be nice if I could find a Triumph guy with more experience than me in the Louisville area to oversee and give me a little guidance... for beers of course (brand(s) and quantity negotiable). 2017 T100 Black

DEALER TOOL. For PC out of the UK. There may also be an easier way, check the forum. Oil And filter DIY is 1/3 the cost.

For those in the NJ/NYC area, I recommend Locomotion Powersports in Mahwah, NJ for service. They are walk-in only on Saturdays for those that don't want to wait for an appointment. First-come first-serve starting at 8am. Very fair prices (charged me $25 for matching key to engine immobilizer vs. $100-$150 quotes from other dealerships. Provided warranty service to change out brake pads for the squealing break issue. Locomotion Powersports, New Jersey | Triumph, Royal Enfield, Slingshot, Polaris & Victory powersports equipment plus service & parts. Serving CT, NY & PA.

“Here, here!” Always pleasant, and professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and keepin’ it real. Love the vibe there - a lot of good people. (Locomotion Powersports, Mahwah, New Jersey.)

I bought my 2018 at Commonwealth motorcycles of Louisville KY. The service has been excellent and the shop mechanics have been great in every aspect.
I live in St Petersburg, FL and bought my 2018 T120 new from Commonwealth.and had the ship it to me. It arrived on my birthday in a Ducati Crate. I'm from KY and I've know these guys for a long time. Outstanding reputation that is well earned. I had the 500 mile service done at Tampa Triumph and I've ordered a few parts/accessories from them and so far they seem to on par for what I expect. Tampa Triumph is small because they are a stand-alone Triumph dealer.

Stu's seem to want top $$$ for there Triumphs, never could get much of of MSRP from them. I purchased elsewhere, a Street Twin at T120and my girlfriends T100, where NOT purchased from Stu's. All three were delivered to my door st no charge. Each was a separate deal and the deals were months apart. One came from the dealler in Orlando the other two from a dealer in Pompano Beach. Saved well over 1K$ on two of then and almost 2K$ on the T120 compared to the 'best deal' Stu's had to offer.

A few months back the service department at Stu's got the 'covid squeeze' and lost Pete, in my opinion the Triumph Tech in all of S. Florida. I've known him for many years and he was the only guy I trusted to work on my Triumphs. Both Pete and Webb, the GM at Stu's, worked at the BMW/Ducati (and one upon a time Triumph dealership) in Ft. Myers.

I hear ya roadscum, my bike was purchased from the Orlando dealer too. I think u have to be a billionaire to shop at Stu,s....lol yeh their bikes definitely run more on the high side. everyone at Stu’s is nice to me when I hit them up for a short vist once in while.
maybe we will run into each Other someday, it’s a small city...lol have a great day and great and great ride!

I've received excellent service from Fred Cummings Motorsports in Bakersfield California. They just did the 20K service on my T-120. The total was $542 with a few add ons which I considered quite reasonable. The bike runs better than ever. The lead tech spent a long time explaining the work and in general talking about my various Triumphs. I had them do some warranty and recall work at 15K and I was equally pleased. One of the things I liked was that I had made an appointment a couple of weeks out and three days before they called me because, do to the pandemics affect on shipping, they hadn't received the entire parts kit and didn't want me to be without my bike while it waited for parts. The minute the parts came in they called me again and got me in the next convenient day for me. I sent a friend who was disappointed in a dealer in the greater LA area there and he was equally pleased.

Warranty service review for Motorcycles of Dulles in Northern VA.

I had a melted headlight lens on a Street Twin which I brought to them. They got it covered under warranty at no cost, it did take about 2 months for it to come in from Triumph... then COVID hit. They replaced it while I waited, it took a little over an hour. Overall I have no complaints with the service and I am glad to have the expensive entire headlight housing warrantied. Then lens is not a seperate part.

The sales reps while I waited there were friendly, helpful, and chill. I'd consider them for a purchase in the future. Inventory for Triumph was good.

Just placed an order from Cascade Moto Classics, in OR. Had my part in 2 days, and they were awesome to deal with. Highly recommend.
Bought my Speed Twin at Cascade. Great all-around shop; from sales and service teams up to the owners, who will personally deliver your bike if desire. A nice touch in on a rainy day in November as I can attest.

Thumbs up for Triumph of Albuquerque - Motopia.

A motorcycle shop run by motorcyclists that doesn't act like a car dealership.

A solid Triumph - Royal Enfield dealer with a great service department.

EDIT 6/13/23... now a Moto-Guzzi and Aprilla dealer.
