Of course you don't let an idiot work on your bike. But to infer that anyone who isn't a Triumph dealer is unqualified to work on a Triumph is a bit of a stretch. And just because it is a Triumph Dealer, you are not necessarily guaranteed to be getting a good mechanic. But it is a guarantee that you will pay top dollar to get the job done. It is more necessary to know the qualifications of whom you are doing business.I have always taken my Triumphs to my Triumph dealer. I just have trouble trusting my bikes to someone who...learned about motorcycles...from a friend, or uncle. Some may be ok, but , I need to be sure who is working on my Triumphs.
