Hello,
I have a 2008 Tiger 1050. It ran completely fine last fall and winter. While moving it around on my back patio it died and will not start again. It turns over confidently, but won't 'catch' and start. While trying to diagnose the problem I broke the tip off the fuel pump, so I replaced it with a new one. The pump is priming, I can hear it. And after priming if I take the fuel line off the pump off it spurts gas so I know the pump is pressurizing the lines. The spark plugs are sparking as well and there are no small animals nesting in the airbox. So I'm wondering if something is preventing the injectors from firing.
Is there a relay that powers the injectors? Even after downloading a copy of the owners manual I see nothing about what the three relays under the seat are connected to. And if not a relay what else could prevent the engine from starting when there is pressurized fuel in the lines and spark from the plugs?
