Thruxton Seat - Quick removal of cover using sprung screws?

I'm looking at getting a thruxton seat and adding some gel pads to it, however before I do I was wondering how easy it is to remove the rear cover/cowl?

The majority of my riding M-F is without the beautiful girlfriend (she's reading over my shoulder), but on the weekends she's perched on the back most of the time.

How easy is it to remove the cowl allowing for a pillion? - part 5:

I believe it's 2 screws but are there any other options such as low profile spring pins or something I can leave attached to the cowl? I just pop them back and pull it off?

Get some of those license-plate reflector bolts. They work on my cowl. Mine is not a Thrux - it's a Bonneville Black with the Triumph Contemporary seat but the bolt size is probably the same. A few cents each and they hand-tighten/loosen - plus you have side reflectors. I use nylon washers with them.
