I bought my Thruxton used and it didn't come w/ a tool kit (not sure there ever was a factory kit. However, I've managed to put a pretty good one together that fits beneath the seat. The first pic shows the tool roll (a Craftsman 7 wrench roll) fitting nicely between the frame rolls under the seat.
The second pic shows the tools laid out--quite a bit crammed in there. Not all easily seen in the picture (L to R): spare wire, spare zip ties, spark plug socket and short extension, 8 sockets to fit most of the bike's bolts, threaded rod to hold the sockets together, combo needle nose vice grips/wire cutters, 3/8" drive flex head stubby socket wrench, wide mouth 6" adjustable wrench (will fit 24mm axle nuts), misc screwdriver bits and holder, shock adjustor, small roll red elec tape, WD-40 pen, penlight, L-handle screwdriver, allen wrench, 10/12mm open end wrench (good luck charm from my first bike--a '76 KZ900), air/fuel mixture adjusting tool and high alt. main/pilot jets, special screwdriver I cutdown to be able to access jets, allen wrench to remove float bowls. And it all fits in a 1"X4"X6" pouch.
