I removed the airbox yesterday to remove the old iacv hoses and replace them. I didn't really pay attention to how the throttle cable was routed. I guess I did it wrong because today the bike revs when I turn the bars left. I slackened the cable and it quit but I still don't think it's routed right. Is there any way someone could take pictures really quick? Right now mine goes in front of the left side intake horn thing. So if you look in there, the cable is going across the hole. Is it supposed to go like on top or under the horn? It also looks like it's pretty tight between the valve cover and frame. Not sure how it should be and I can't find anything to reference.

I took some pics of my '98. The airbox and snorkels are off so I can't show you with them attached, but the throttle cable if I remember correctly is under the left side snorkel(horn), not on top. It dives between the frame opening after leaving the metal ring behind the steering head and does travel close to the frame and cam cover to the throttle bodies. Hope this helps somewhat. I didn't touch the throttle cable when I removed the airbox and snorkels, so I'm assuming it's in the correct location for when I install the other parts.
