Hi all,

I know I've already asked this but I've tried searching for my previous posts and they're not showing up so I need to ask again but can anyone tell me how long the clutch push rod should be? I've fitted mine and it's barely poking out of the main shaft let alone getting anywhere near the clutch actuator and that's with the clutch adjuster screwed all the way in.

This may be the cable adjuster on the tranny cover not adjusted correctly or your clutch pack is thicker than stock. My clutch rod seemed too short after installing a 7 plate clutch, I chose to make a new pressure plate adjuster screw. You could also make a longer clutch rod, or cut yours in half and put a bearing ball between the halves. After doing either of these the adjuster will be very close to the cover and fine tuning may be required to prevent interference, which will prevent the clutch from releasing.
