SCAM WARNING
This email I received had Triumph Rat Net, the message disappeared from my profile links. I did contact the email and sent money for the rack. Unfortunately this turned out to be a scam but I did recover my money thanks to my bank. DO NOTcontact these people.

Good of your bank to make it right. Many banks and insurance companies require an incident report to satisfy a claim.

We had a case years ago. Had a guy who was the vic of a home invasion. His little dog woke him up in the middle of the night. He immediately grabbed his pistol off the nightstand, and at that moment an armed intruder burst into his bedroom. The intruder was met with the victim's pistol aimed at him. It barked twice, the pistol, striking the intruder in the shoulder.

The victim is a former Golden Globe boxer. A World War II vet. A practicing martial artist. Gun collector. And when asked why he only fired twice he said, "I had been target practicing today and forgot to reload it all the way."

Of ALL the people to break in on.

Anyway. His statement to us was, "I hate a thief."

Your story reminded me of that. I hate a thief. Cyber crimes are hard to investigate because of multiple jurisdictions involved. But, I still hate a thief.

Wow, that was a pretty slick scam they did. Thank you for sharing the information, sorry the scammers got their hooks on you.
I too hate thieves, my opinion is "Street Justice" would be a more effective deterent than jail time.
Be safe and enjoy the ride 🏍

Sorry to hear you got caught up in a scam but I'm glad you were able to get your money back. It's always crucial to be on guard with online transactions.

Experienced it too and one thing that's helped me avoid scams is that I always ask for info first and make sure to run a quick check on the person I'm dealing with using resource like https://nebraska.recordspage.org/ , especially if things feel a bit off. It was truly helpful in verifying someone's identity before going too deep into a transaction, like u can already tell if they're not legit if from the start they won't even provide some useful info. Just remember to trust your instincts and never rush into sending money before you feel comfortable.

Anyway, thanks for the heads up! It's important that we all look out for each other in the community. Stay safe!
