Reuse brake disc bolts?

I noticed the Triumph service manual says to discard the old brake disc mounting bolts. Anyone ever have any problems? I'm assuming it's just a safety precaution due to heat cycling of the disc and bolts. And of course anything brake related gets more careful attention. Or maybe it's just a race thing?

I'm changing my disc and I plan to reuse. Just wanted to bounce this around the forum.

Thanks :)

Service manuals usually tell you to replace rotor bolts or other fasteners that use threadlock. They reason that you are not going to clean off the old before applying new locker. When I replaced my Thrux rear rotor, I cleaned off the threads on the bolts and hub with paint stripper and then used new locker. A bit of a pain. You can also clean the threads with a torch on the bolts. Wire brushing may clean as well. Depends upon how old the locker is. I replaced the nuts and bolts for a new rear sprocket on my Daytona because some of the nuts were rounded over by previous hands. Looks good with a new sprocket as well. They were 16yrs old as well.
