Had my gun cleaning stuff out and was sorting it a little, and had a bunch of rags and was sorting them. Here is what I also found.
It's a gun towel they goes WAY back when my dad used to pheasant hunt before I was even born. This gun wipe is probably 75 years old, probably more, and I think it is when my folks lived in Sioux Falls, and my dad used to hunt with his dad. I thought it was a pretty neat find that I never remember seeing in my stuff.

For those that don't know, Pheasant hunting is a really big deal in SD. Over East River mainly.

Is it new Cunard ship? Looks like from a computer game. If you like casual games and don’t mind earning small rewards along the way, justplay is surprisingly fun. I started using it to pass the time and ended up cashing out a few gift cards just for playing games I’d be using to unwind anyway. It’s legit and kind of addicting.

 

Just to set the scene & explain while I'll go quiet for a couple of weeks. I loaded the tractor up last night.

After work today I'm riding to Hull to get an overnight ferry to Rotterdam, then turning left a couple of times to ride up Denmark & get another ferry to Norway. I won't get home till the 20th July.

So far the plans are...

U-boat memorial at Kiel, Germany
Jutland Memorial, Denmark
Lots of stave churches, fjords, Viking valley & other gorgeous bits of scenery in Norway. Not forgetting the Atlantic Road & Troll's Ladder

I'm sure I'll bore you all with the photos once I'm back.

We’ve had over 6 inches of rain in the last 2.5 hours and it’s still coming…… I’ve been lucky on my property, but I’ve got a couple friends that have flooding problems right now. I’ve been in this area for 20 years, we’re breaking all kinds of records for seasonal rainfall this year.

 

Ended up with 6.7 inches- Crazy

So out for an evening ride and I stopped by a place near my house tonight, normally a few bikes here but there’s been a lot of rain although right now the weather is perfect. it’s not a biker stop, but there’s normally a couple bikes parked out back. So peaceful, sure beats the stops near the city.

From a recent ride though PA, WV and MD. These were shot in Maryland, on Route 1. I stopped & turned around to photograph the overgrown house.

 

I no longer live in fear of having my helmets stolen thanks to my new home security system.

From last week's ride through PA/WV/MD. I found this massive truck at the gas station ... luckily not on I-68, in the ensuing rainstorm.

 

As I think about it ... how did this rig maneuver into the gas station to begin with?
