I want to cut another spare key for my 2003 955i and was curious if anyone knows if later model keys are compatible? The layout of the blank blades on some of the other key part numbers i have found look the same. Key is maybe a fraction longer, but this is no issue.
I have the older "square" shaped key, i believe T2500440. If buying a new key it would be nice to get something more modern and better looking. Also listed on my VIN is option of T2500517 which is the "diamond" shaped key/no badge.
From the later ST1050/675 the key blank looks the same style blade, T2500511 is the part number. This one looks nicer as it has the badge. Is this compatible?
