It's a long story but the high level header pipes that I have sourced for my T100c rebuild are both too long and need cutting down.
I need to make a straightforward cut at 90 degrees and this cut will be covered over by about an inch of the muffler.
Any thoughts on the best way to approach this? Obviously I want to avoid chipping off too much chrome and I want to make the cut as rust proof as possible. As it will be covered over by the muffler I have about an inch of grace for any aesthetic issues...
I have an angle grinder with a very fine cutting disk: is this the right tool for the job?
