Hello everybody,

I have a GOPRO HERO 7 connected to the Scrambler 1200 bluetooth module and it works as advised.
I would like to upgrade to HERO 10 and I wrote to MyTriumph customer service but they just confirmed that only HERO7 is certified to fully work with their system.
Does any of you successfully paired the HERO10 (or even 9) to the triumph bluetooth? Do all the features work?
I would need at least "start/stop video" and "Take photo" to work...
Thanks a lot for any feedback you can share!

Would you mind explaining how you're able to stop recording? I've been trying to get a GoPro Hero 9 working with my 900 GT Pro, and the only thing that seems to work right is starting recording. A short center-press on the joystick works for that. But stopping the recording usually doesn't work. A short center-press while recording causes the GoPro to beep once, but usually it doesn't stop the recording. Fairly often the camera gets stuck in recording mode and the only way to stop it is to reset it by pressing the Modes button on the camera for 10 seconds. Does a short center-press usually work for you for stopping recording?

Thanks,
Rob

hello!
I was able to find a collegue with the Hero 9 black and from Scrambler 1200 XE i can't change MODE...it stick on the mode you select on the GOPRO and if you try to change mode from the joystick the gopro goes in PHOTO mode and never change from there, white the TFT panel shows as if the GOPRO is in VIDEO mode... really a mess.... :(

I was finally able to get the Triumph Connectivity GoPro control system working with my Hero 9 Black on my Tiger 900 GT Pro. At least for starting and stopping video recording, which is all I really care about. The problem all along turned out to be that the most recent GoPro Hero 9 firmware, v1.70, is buggy. Installing the previous v1.60 fixed it for me and it's working great. A short center press on the joystick starts recording, and another short press stops it. (A right press changes the mode from video to photo, but then it's stuck there and won't change back to video.) A long center press wakes it up from standby mode. A long center press while it's awake turns it off. (But it's completely off, not just in standby mode, and can't be turned back on again using the Triumph controls.)

Here's some more info about the bugs in the latest firmware. (Apparently the latest Hero 10 firmware has the same problems.)

I have problem with tiger 1200 gt pro (2022 new model ) and GoPro hero 10. There is no way to start recording. Only to change mode from camera to video etc ( up- down joystick) and shutdown (long center press). No video recording, no photo taking. I contact Triumph and they told me only GoPro hero 7 is supported !!!! I hope by the time GoPro hero 15 is available in 3-5 years, GoPro 10 will be supported !!!! What a shame for Triumph..

Hi All. I have a 2022 Tiger 900 GT Pro, the Hero 10 pairs in a while and I'm able to start, stop (even with some delay, few seconds), take a snapshot, stand by and resume the camera. The only thing that doesn't work properly is the switch among modes. If I'm in video mode and move the joystick left or right, the cam goes to photo mode, but if I move the joystick again it refuses to go in video mode and it enters the TimeWarp mode instead. From that moment on, every joystick movement toggles between photo and TimeWarp, so if I want to enter the video mode I must do it from the camera. Does anybody have the same issue? Thanks

yes the same well know issue...
also this is the answer from Triumph support:
"...it is only the GoPro Hero 7 Black that had its core functionality tested with our system meaning that other models of GoPro may not support all functionality.
There are currently no future plans to test and support any other GoPro models with our My Triumph Connectivity system."
Unfortunately from Hero8, Go pro changed the OS or something that makes Triumph Comm module obsolete...

infact the audio quality is crappy too on my scrambler at least. I

I think it could be quite simple for a developer, just adding a sub-menu to select the right GoPro model. Moreover, GoPro has the Open GoPro software platform available and all the commands shared publicly.
