Already canceled the Givi after 3 months of back order and ordered a Puig from Revzilla that is in stock at Puig in Florida.

 

I was lucky, pre ordered the Givi screen and had one of the first ones!

One thing that I did not realize until it was gone, was just how much air pressure I was getting on my shoulders when riding with the stock shield. This OEM shield is definitely narrower than on my old V-Strom. So if you are noticing air pressure or get some buffeting on shoulders, it might be worth the wait.

The MRA screen is wider than stock but no taller. It takes off the wind blast on the shoulders and doant look like a barn door 😂

 

Just installed by new 20375 clear Puig touring windscreen on my Tiger 900 GT Pro. Puig can do a better job of instructions but it was an easy install. Haven't taken it out on the highway yet to see about wind. Much taller than the stock.

 

Let us know how much it cuts down the wind noise. As someone who's been a professional musician and recording studio owner for 35 years, I have bad tinnitus. I do wear earplugs all the time but I still get too much wind noise with the stock screen.

I am really looking for a Givi D6415S for my 2022 900 GT Low. Still no where to be found. I see this thread in 9 months old. I like that his one is only a 1/2 in. taller that stock which is what I want. I want more width to get the wind off my shoulders. Any other choices? The Puig is a litter taller than What I want. Ideas?

Love the GIVI, reduces wind noise and wind on your shoulders.

Also it looks not too bad.

 

I could be mistaken but Tour and Ride site indicates it is in stock the the U.S.:

Great wind protection and no wind noise
but the mounting points are not molded as in the stock or givi, and the first screen cracked, I got a replacement for free and added rubber grommets at the mounting points which have held ok

 

I’ve just installed the Puig screen on my bike.

 

I have a Givi Screen and I'm 5'8". The screen is perfect in its low position. The only downside was riding to work in the early morning when it was misty it had a layer of dew on it obstructing the view of the road, but a coat of Rainex soon sorted that as any water just beads off!

 

I suggest going with a shorter and wider screen and making up the height difference with a clamp on or bolt on adjustable MRA spoiler. This is aerodynamically advantageous over a screen only because it will reduce turbulence.

 

I have the Givi 6415ST. I ordered from a place in Italy and it was delivered in about a week to my home in Minnesota. It is wider than the stock windscreen, and maybe a 1/4" to 1/2" taller. In my opinion, it really isnt much better than the stock one.

 

I got the large Givi and I stand 6’3” and in the up position I barely get wind. If I’m on county roads and it is over 90 I drop it all the way down. In the down position it is very close to the OEM height in the up position. I love it but if you live in a hot area and are not 6’’2” or taller you may not be happy. Winter it rocks.
