Hey everyone.
Chasing fault codes.

Code p0113
Air temp sensor high bank 1.
Figured out the air temp sensor was missing. Replaced sensor im on my second heat cycle. Right track here?

code p0413
Air system switching valve open.
This is the SAi code? Ok to ride?

The bike is stock. No
O2 sensor
No airbox only pods
No SAI.

stock exhaust.

Is there a dealer map I can use until I get the exhaust done?
Picked the bike up used 2nd owner purchased it, said he didn’t touch it. Bike runs and rides great

Sorry, Your bike is not stock.

How are you seeing these two error codes?

If you are using TuneECU then you can identify the map currently loaded - please let us know which one.

You can also reset error codes within Tune ECU, waiting for 3 complete cycles with more than one single error to clear is a mugs game and a bad design on our bikes.

Stock meaning no other mods than listed as in the exhaust really. I’m not entirely sure why the previous owner would do what they did and not replace the exhaust seems like a half measure?

I’m just using a hand held obd2 scanner. I was able to manually clear the temp sensor code. The only code now is for the SAI p0413.

haven’t picked up any software yet as I don’t have a windows laptop and I was waiting to upgrade the exhaust.

OK understood - your P0413 code is because (as you know) the SAI system has been removed and the ECU is looking for it.

The only solutions are:

1. Buy another kit like this one with the 'dongle' to plug into the loom to kid the ECU all is well (I use this kit and it works great).

2. Use TuneECU to disable the error message/light for SAI error codes. (That's all it does, but no worries)

3. If you have it, reinstall part of the SAI system (the Solenoid) and plug the loom back in.

Of course you may have the above plug already fitted and it may have come lose, you may have to lift the tank to access this area of the loom to check this out.

If you can, always try to clear an error code to see if the fix has worked or not, this wait three warm up cycles malarkey is pants.

TuneECU is now only available using an Android device and is charged for.

The heady days of free open source are sadly long gone. Although if you have an old windows laptop and can get a copy of the old version it still works great on our bikes, in fact it's probably a better way to go because the software of the time was for our bikes of the time. The later version was really developed for later bikes and I've seen at least one area that is misleading on the Android version (MAP sensor voltage if I remember correctly, but I maybe dreaming that!).

Good luck..........

Do you have a link to the kit?

the plugs on the pipes and cylinders are there. The connection delete? Is not. It’s just open under the tank. So I’m assuming for now I just need to “close” the loop to eliminate the light until I remap.

thank you for the help!
