Dash cam?

I use GoPros on my T120 up front, back, and sometimes another on side mount. Not only for scenic rides but also for legal purposes.

I tried getting my wife a dash cam as she travels interstate 120 miles a day. Believe it not, not everyone behind the wheel knows that the he...ll they're doing.

Any recommendations on a dash cam? I bought her a RedTiger. But a recent 1,200 mile trip proved it wasn't up for the task. After a few hours of great operation it began restarting every 10 minutes. Then after a stop off it got down to five, then every 30 seconds. I cleared the SD card thinking that could be it. No help.

Any others you recommend?

(Update: I told her I mentioned it here. She said a woman with Coke-bottle glasses on yesterday missed her by a foot and never saw her).

I've gone with a ROVE R2-4K Dash Cam as listed on Car and Driver. We'll see how it works. She puts 120 interstate miles a day on her car and sees some really horrific drivers.

I appreciate the input. I may be back here again if this one doesn't work out.

Please let us know how it works, good or bad.
This one has actually worked well. We're two weeks in with it having driven two days in my car and the rest in my wife's car. I did clean/delete the 256gb micro disc content after the first week (nothing to report/use). The screen area is more square than I was looking for. I'd prefer a wider lens angle to capture more peripheral view. And no rear cam is included. But for what it is and the price ($112), I can't complain.
