Custom paint job

Saw this on a 2nd hand 1050 in my dealer's, way back last October. Finally got around to transferring it rom my phone to my pc and posting it

It wasn't there (oddly!) last time I went in, so someone owns this fella - if you read this site please post better pics for everyone else :)

Anyway, I liked it enough to share - and perhaps give others some incentive for further mods.

Very nice paint job. Been thinking about doing something like that on my white 1050. The white color seems to cry out for a custom paint job.

EDIT: Any chance this old post from 2005 might be from the original owner?

Probably not - it's the wrong part of the country, and they state it's a scorched yellow bike..

This was in Bill Smiths in Chester if that helps anyone. I agree that white does cry out for this kind of treatment. Nice work too.

Arguably yes, at least the final assembly is done in England.

Parts that are for sure not made in England:
-suspension
-brakes
-wheels
-plastics + body + paintwork
-rubber hoses etc.
-electrics, ECU, sensors, blinkers, lights
-throttle bodies

Parts probably not made in England, but at Triumph thai factory / subcontractor in who knows where:
-swingarm
-frame
-exhaust

Does not leave much made-in-England stuff. Final assembly of engines is still done England I guess, but I doubt if the manufacturing starts from zero at Hinckley or if parts are cast & machined at some place a bit cheaper first.
