After a long six months of work (only took that long as I did a lot of the prep work), got my beloved Sprint back together with its awesome new paint job. Lucky enough to have a brother who is an airbrush artist who came up with the design. it's a combination of gloss black and satin pearl gunmetal grey. The Triumph logos aren't decals but are painted on, under the clear coats.

More sports than tourer now hey? Was it inspired by the CBR600 X-Ray?

I love it. I think it's the nicest looking Sprint I have ever seen. Kudos on both the work and the photography.

Thanks all, it took ages and there were times when I regretted having kicked off the project but seeing the end result has made it all worth while.

I will check out that nut cap. Mate of mine has one on his sprint so may well order one.

Wow bit of a thread dredge lol.

However, I've never seen this before and I'm genuinely impressed. As a painter, I would usually advise against changing colour, attempting DIY auto-refinishing etc, but this is one really well done vehicle.

Though not in the same order, it even has my KTM 1290 colours. Double awesome!
