Does a Tiger use a cambus system for the entire electrical system...or just the engine?

Up to the 955i Tigers don't have a canbus electrical system in any way.
Not sure about the 1050 Tigers and Triumph don't shout about it if they do.

As far as I was aware it's only BMs that use the canbus system.

Can anyone explain to me what a canbus is? sorry to the more intellectual among you, please excuse my ignorance..
Here is the wiki - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Controller–area_network - good luck!

It has to do with managing sub-systems intelligently with less wiring.

Here is a link with info specifically on the BMW CAN-bus system - http://www.bmwra.org/otl/canbus/ . BMW's uses the CAN bus system more widely then the Triumph system, to the point of using 'virtual fuses' in place of normal fuses.
