Tiger 900 front wheel tire pressure problems

I have a 2021 Tiger 900 and have had a difficult time maintaining air pressure in the front tire. I purchased the bike slightly used off of a private owner, with the stock tires still on it. No problems with those. Then I had the dealer put on Metzeler tires which I had received with the purchase of the bike. I didn't have much for problems with the first 500 miles or so, but after that I started noticing a rapid depletion of air in the front tire.

I sprayed that tire down with soapy water and noticed several large areas that were leaking around the seating of the tire to the rim. So I took it to the dealer, they cleaned the rim, said there was a bit of dirt in it, then remounted it and said it was good to go. It wasn't. Same problem. I was losing about 5-7 PSI a day. I took it to a different shop, had them pull and remount the tire, and same story, it was still leaking around the seating. After that I did more of my own research and read of several people complaining of similar issues with Metzelers, remarking that they have particularly hard sidewalls and area prone to not seating correctly. So I figured it must be the tire.

I then purchased a new Pirelli Scorpion and the problem remains. I leak about 5PSI or more, over 24 hours each day consistently till it's empty. The leak is still where the tire seats on the rim. Not the valve stem or anywhere else.

Could it be my rim? I've read about spokes being out of torque/spec?
Could it be that I have received two bad tires in a row?
Should I try something like a bead sealer?

I'm wondering if I just live with it, which is more or less fine, it's just a pain to put that much air in every 1-2 days. Seems extreme to me...all my other bikes leak air but nothing like this.

thanks for any advice

Nowhere in the above did I see a check of the edge of the rim to see if it was still round and true. If it has flat spots then that would affect the bead seal especially where the problem is consistent across 2 different tires / brands. I would not think that you happened to have 2 tires, from different manufacturers, that had bead problems.

A check of the spokes would also be a good thing to do also especially given the reported issues I have read with the earlier years of the 20-23 model.

Same issue with my 2022 Rally Pro. No problem with the factory fitted Dunlops, then replaced with Pirrelli MT 60 (which is all my local shop had in a mild off-road tyre). Next day after 450km country ride had to get the front tyre re-fitted as it wasn't sealing in a few spots along the bead. Rode another 2500km without a problem. Went to ride after a month away (bike in the garage on centre-stand) and the front tyre was flat. When pumped up was losing 5-7 psi daily. Checked the bead seal and had three leaks so, had the tyre refitted, again. Mechanic checked the rim for flat spots but it seemed ok. It now loses about 2 psi daily, but with no obvious bead leaks. I'm thinking spokes, tiny puncture or another hard walled tyre that just has trouble fitting the rim properly.
