I'm sure there will be differing opinions on this one...

"Often we have devices installed on our motorcycles that need to be "managed" while riding. GPS, music players, smartphones, XM radio, etc. It's not a good idea to do so when riding, but at times it can not be helped."
Can't be helped? What's more important on your GPS/PDA, that needs your attention immediately, than riding the bike? Another gene selection scheme?

It would also mean you don't need to pull your gloves off every time you need to do something. Besides, are you saying that you never ever take your hands off of the grips? Are we supposed to be pulling over to push the choke knob in, or switch to reserve, stuff like that?

I'd rather take the gloves I like and add stitching of conductive thread. I'm not sure the sticker would hold up.

US$10,000, will have the "fingerprint" on the sticker be your fingerprint.
For ten grand I'd want the sticker to be someone ELSES fingerprint!

Ok, if some dingbat chick in an urban assault vehicle gets a scowl and possibly a rude gesture for texting while driving. wth does someone on a bike get??

I use a smartphone gps while on my bike (it lives in my pocket, not the handlebars) going to construction sites and whatnot. Even someone as limited as myself can manage to commit a couple of miles of directions to my goldfish-like memory and drive those out before needing to pull over and re-consult the magic 8 ball.

But, hey, Im just the average rider, not some super-powered expert thats comfortable in flipflops and shorts, and feels the need to tweet about how annoying grooved pavement can be while threading rush hour traffic.

I was thinking about the distraction, some day someone is going to figure out they can update their Facebook status on the road and that worries me.

If you're prepared to do that I'm sure you'd have no qualms about riding without gloves, or at least without a glove.

At the very least cutting a fingertip, off.

I haven't got any touchscreens on my bike, & I don't want any. I rarely look at the instruments I have got, except to keep an eye on my speed. & I never play with the screen while I'm riding. So I don't think I need them.
