Hi there,

apologies if it's been answered already. Did a quick search here but found nothing.

I'm interested in getting a Street Scrambler 900, but would like to know if there are ways to raise the seat height a little. Is the bench seat a tad higher? Aftermarket recommendations? I'm 6.1 and my knees aren't what they used to be.

How about the rear shocks: are they decent enough now (no offroading)? Are the Fox ones offering much better ride quality?

Thanks in advance,

D.

Just one, the British Customs Slammer Seat. It’s higher than stock. About right for a guy at 5’9”. Maybe up to 5’11” but not too sure about 6’1”. However, you need to take a test ride on Scrambler 1200XC, only slighty heavier than 900 but very comfortable. XE model is much taller though.

On my street twin I like the Fox rear shocks. I think they added to the compliance of the bike over rough bumps. I also added the bench seat when I had the bike. The bench seat added a bit to the ride height which helps. Not sure if the bench seat would fit the scrambler but I still have it in the box.
