Sprint ST1050 ABS Wiring Diagram

 

If there was an alarm you have to replace it w/ a blanking plug. It's described in one schematic before the one sacksofphones posted. If he is kind enough... Or you can buy one. It has two loops but I can't tell what pins are strapped.

 

So the mission is clear, find the wires and hot wire them, I'll blank off the rest, actual plug is gone. Thank you fredsprint

 

It has been suggested that late 2007 sprints onwards require a handshake between the clocks and the ecu for anything useful to happen. If this is indeed the case i think you would need to find a matching ecu and instruments.
Earlier sprints with a V.1 Keihin computer don't need the clocks to be present, as is the case with my 2006.

 

What exactly would a clock be?

The blank off plug has two loops: 1-2 and 3-5 on connector 40.
Regarding the instrument cluster the info is somewhere in the forum.

Sorry, yes, as Steve says, clocks = instrument cluster.

Your bike will not run without an instrument cluster, the ECU requires a specific coded signal from the cluster so no, a blanking plug won't work.

I can't find any definite information on whether the ECU is tied to a particular instrument set by means of an individual code or if any instruments from a bike with a V.2 Keihin ECU will be sufficient, I suspect the latter but perhaps someone else has some knowledge here.
