I wanted to secure my XC oil plug. It's flush mounted so here is a way. Parts needed: Scrap aluminum 1/8", 1/4" flat head ss short screws, small rubber bung, lawn mower primer bulb, stainless steel shutter bolt (1/4"), drill & tap for skid plate.
Line all parts up so the primer bulb just presses lightly on sump plug. EZ removal of entire bracket for oil change and no worries about dumping crankcase oil on rear wheel.
