Dyno Tune on a Stock Bike - does it improve performance?

So, I'd like to take a basic poll on dyno tuning a stock motorcycle. The questions are:

(1) Have you gotten your stock bike dyno tuned?
(2) What was the result?
(3) Which bike?

I'm deliberately leaving out the question, 'was it worth it?'. Of course opinions are welcome but I'd like to hear the outcomes from the experience of people who have tuned their stock bike. Value can be pretty subjective. A small improvement for $500 is not worth it for one person but might make another happy.

I have had my friends that dyno their new stock bikes out of curiosity to see if the factory hp is what the manufacturer claims, I myself wouldn’t put my stock bike through the unnecessary abuse for that no matter what it cost I would just take the manufacturers word.
But once I modify a bike with exhaust and a PC or hp motor work I would have my bike professionally dyno tuned of
course. Wow, $500. Bucks that’s a chunk. my last dyno tune for my 05’ gixxer 1K with a PC6 that they had to tune a custom map for it because There was none yet for the pro race pipe on my model bike and that only cost me like $250., of course labor cost here in Florida is a lot lower then other states and countries I would figure….FTG

Thanks.

Yes, I've heard the price can range significantly depending on where you live - I've seen comments in the past ranging from $200 to $600.

Street Cup. I bought a tune from DNK when it was stock, before i started changing cam, exhaust, X-pipe and intake. I cannot say if i got more HP but the drivability was much better, the engine felt less restricted, more eager to rev and the max revs moved to 7400 rpm. After tune the whole rev range from idle to 7400 was useable, stock it was no idea to rev over 5000, there was nothing to gain. So for the $200 it cost back then it was absolutely worth the money.

I've never had a "stock" bike dyno tuned.

But, I have had a stock bike dyno'd, THEN had it tuned with less restrictive intake & exhaust.

(Went from 156HP to 183HP) Not a Triumph.

Also had my car "tuned" it was all stock. (466HP to 495HP)

More recently, had my Husq 701 tuned. (65HP to 76HP) It's nuts now.

So, yes, having fuel & spark tables optimized can make a difference...
