Chain clicking noise

If it's worse when you push the bike backwards, the front sprocket teeth could be worn. If it's ran for periods with a dry chain, the teeth will become hook shaped.
The old rule of thumb for checking chain wear is to lift a roller off the rear sprocket. If you can slide a pencil in between the chain and sprocket, it's time for a new one.
