By way of background, I owned a 2009 Bonneville T100 and traded it in on a 2015 Tiger 800XRx. I absolutely loved the Bonnie and am loving my Tiger. As much as I love the Tiger for practicality, the Bonneville had character that I miss. I also owned a 1973 BMW R60/5 for several years and moved on to a 1978 R80/7. I'm thinking that a Moto Guzzi V7 III would be a nice, modern replacement for the old BMW airheads that I've owned (awesome bikes but much more wrenching required than for modern bikes). All that said, I'm considering keeping the Tiger and selling the '78 R80 and replacing it with either a new T100 (I don't need the extra power or weight of a T120) or a Moto Guzzi V7 III. Although the Bonneville is an incredible bike, for me it's kinda "been there, done that" vs a Guzzi which I've never owned. I know this is a Triumph forum but I'm curious to see if anyone can provide input regarding pro's / con's of Moto Guzzi...would I be crazy to buy one? One thing that concerns me is that the dealer network isn't nearly as robust as Triumph's; but, I've heard that Guzzi's are very reliable and easy to maintain.
