Best suspension and brakes for Air Cooled Scrambler?

One day I had an idea to improve the brakes and front suspension. Like any sane person, I just bought the solution:
1. K-Teck Fork Cartridge
2. Behringer 4-piston caliper with brake disc.

But that wasn't enough for me.
And one day I saw a photo where some guys installed a tiger fork. But how strange a 21-inch wheel looks!

I realized that I need to look for a solution and found the guys who will make me custom 19-inch excel rim drilling.

I also decided to install the rear wheel from the tiger. 4.25 150/70

I was looking for a cartridge-only fork (WP-suspention Tiger 800XCX)
And found it. I did not yet know what difficulties awaited me ;)

I couldn't find a Brembo caliper from the new model, so I made a Brembo sticker on the Nissin caliper (this is a temporary solution)

Now for the complications:
1. I had to cut the frame and build up a piece to make the limiters work.

2. But the worst thing that fashion custom workshops don’t talk about is that the steering angle has become critically small :mad::mad: I had to put up with it for a whole season and I was hatching ideas on how to fix it. I'll talk about this a little later.

- I don't like a high fender, so I had to come up with an interesting mount and implement it.

The result is amazing!

I also made spacers for the rear shocks. Together with the larger wheel, this equalized the ride height with the front end.

It looked perfect, but for me, the nissin calipers were not as cool as I expected (yes, I also changed the 15mm brake cylinder) and the turning radius pissed me off.

1. To begin with, I replaced the calipers, lengthened the side stand.

2. The most difficult! Designing and cnc milling. I wanted to make the turning radius slightly better than the standard bike. To be honest, I got it only the second time. The first set was with errors in measurements.

After powder coating the result exceeded all my expectations.
I also made a hole for the wires for easier routing.

Now for me it is the perfect motorcycle in terms of looks, performance and riding pleasure. I have done a lot of mods, but this thread is about suspension and brakes. By the way, Brembo brakes — what I was missing, I found the perfect recipe.

Thank you all for your attention. :)

Well done your Scrambler looks great and good to see customised work for a result you are looking for.

I have some alloy rear shocker relocation mounts to increase travel if you are interested in which I copied the idea on your first photo.

Well done again

Great conversion, you really went the hard way. Looks great. Love the Tiger wheels.

Free Spirit does Tiger 1050 yokes, this would have saved you alot of time and given you Brembo Monobloc M4 calipers. Wouldn't have needed to cut and weld anything either. Would have all bolted up. I fitted the same conversion to my Bonneville as the tiger 1050 and 1050 speedtriple early forks are the same bar the length of the forks.
I needed better brakes when I doubled the power 904cc etc.
That will probably be your next move. Look forward to seeing it.👍

The yokes from the tiger would still not give me that turning radius and the correct fastening of the speedometer. The cost of milling is not as high as it might seem, but now I can do as many sets as I like. I already did it for my friends with some edits. Now this can be mounted on a standard bonneville frame and there is no need to change the bearings and axle.
For me it was important to keep the classic look of the motorcycle. Only those Brembo calipers could save him.

interesting and beautiful, but I'm glad that I went this way, anyway, I like the look of my version more, I made it from aircraft aluminum + more convenient functionality for wires and hoses.
