My guess I am probably the last person in the world to read about this Boeshield T-9 stuff.
boeshield.com
I happened to come across it reading an article in a newspaper, and it certainly sounds good. Apparently it is widely used in the bicycling community for chain lube and general corrosion protection, as well as by woodworkers and marine applications. I'm trying to think where it would be useful on our motorcycles? I'm not sure about using as a chain lube, but it could be useful as a spray on/wipe off protectant for polished aluminum and general steel surfaces (wheel rims?) to prevent corrosion. Since it isn't too expensive, I ordered a small can to try it out. This stuff seems to be very popular, but I have never heard of its general use in the motorcycling community. Looks like Boeing developed it (before the 737 Max hopefully) for protecting aircraft parts against corrosion. Has anyone used this stuff?
