Hello all. I have purchased my first Triumph, a Sprint GT SE 1050 2014 year. I find the seat uncomfortable and has sagged where it meets the tank. Please can someone tell me where I can get a much better seat that's a bit higher (im 6ft 3) and also will cope with long miles as I've bought it for touring. I've looked on the Internet but most places don't stock anymore.

Very easy to add more foam/padding to raise the height of the seat. You could do this yourself if you have basic tool skills. I have the opposite problem. I used an electric carving knife and removed almost two inches of foam and recovered the seat in ultrasuede. I bet there are some tutorials on Youtube that will give you guidance.

I’ve got a stock seat, the Triumph gel and a Corbin. My wife likes the factory gel, it’s fine for me but gets soft after a few hours (I’m fat) but the Corbin is best for me. My wife, however dislikes the Corbin because as @Steve Ford said they take 2” away from the passenger seat. The stock seat was ok but the foam was breaking down so it got super soft.

If it were me, starting over, I’d get my standard seat redone by a professional upholstery shop with foam that will keep it shape longer. I like the position but it crushes after a while and a few years of use.
