About $90. That and the Motodemic offerings supposedly have a wider beam pattern which they claim makes them more suitable for motorcycle use, but I've ridden at night with a Harley rider who has a Motodemic Evo S on his bike and the difference in side illumination wasn't perceivable on the road. That, and the 8700 Evo 2 Dual Burn on my bike threw more light down the road; especially on high beam.

I haven't had an opportunity to ride side-by-side with a bike with an adaptive lamp in it, but I've ridden a bike with one and I certainly wasn't an additional $237 worth of impressed. My personal opinion is the adaptive lamps are more of a novelty than a worthwhile improvement over fixed-beam lamps.

And as I already stated in previous posts, the Motodemic lamps are a lot busier (space-age) looking than the 8700 Evo 2 Dual Burn lamps, which may appeal to some people, but it doesn't appeal to me. Yeah, the 8700 looks modern too, but it's more subtle.

Awesome. Dual burn it is. What are some good online retailers? It doesn't look like I can buy direct from JW.

Also, is the install idiot proof, because a mechanic I am not.

I got mine shipped from Summit Racing.

https://www.summitracing.com/parts/j...4961/overview/

Other have used Amazon and eBay. The downside with buying one on eBay is that JW Speaker's warranty won't cover any lights sold by a re-seller instead of an authorized dealer.

Clearview windshield, Triumph Cruise Control Kit DRL Type 2, Pazzo levers, JW Speaker Evo 2 LED headlamp, Booster Plug, Triumph LED indicators, 4 bar tank badges, chrome throttle body, clutch and inspection covers.

This is the adapter ring you need, https://motodemic.com/shop/triumph-7...-adapter-ring/

Revzilla has "with mount" and without mount. Is the mount the adapter ring?

Thanks. Saved me a headache.

With the add of the motodemic mount, not much of a price savings to the motodemic setup all around, really.

I used a JW 8700 Evo 2 without the dual burn feature. It was about $50 less, about $250.

I think if you order from Motodemic it comes with the adapter ring already installed.

Yes, those are much better than the original light, but I'd like to keep my retro bike looking retro.
