Question Where are all the Scrambler 1200 Farkles?

I traded in my Rocket III yesterday for a Scrambler 1200 and since it is currently raining cats and dogs I'm sitting in my living room looking for accessories....

I know it is a new model but it is an absolute desert out there for aftermarket support.

I did find a boring tail bag here:

https://bikereview.com.au/new-produc...crambler-1200/

And then this hip one from Unit Garage:

https://www.unitgarage.com/triumph/m...ler_1200_xc_xe

I'm hoping that Happy Trail or somebody start offering a luggage rack for it soon.

Has anyone else had any luck finding any Scrambler farkles?

Patience, young Grasshopper. They'll come, but it takes time. I know Hepco and Becker are working on stuff and I'm sure the other larger farklemeisters will be at it soon. Still want a centrestand for my XE

I know youre right. Id like a center stand for my XE as well.

I saw Triumph lists one for it but I can't seem to find anyone selling it. On some websites it is listed as discontinued. Weird.

Thanks for the King Fu reference!

I just heard back from HappyTrail and there are no plans at this time to develop a rack system. I'm interested to see what Hepco Becker comes up with.

I don't think Triumph do a stand for the XE - they do one for the XC and the old 900, but I think for the XE we'll have to wait for some third party to make one (TEC Bike parts, I'm looking at you)

What are you looking for? Obviously no right side luggage. I have a givi sr6410 rail and luggage rack on my T120 which allows mounting givi top cases. I don’t know but doubt it will fit the scrambler - that would make too much sense.

Metal Mule make a full, both sides kit for the 900 Scrambler, so I reckon they'll knock one up for the 1200 (eventually). SW Motech only do LHS stuff for the 900.

Ideally I'd like a rack system similar to the metal Mule or happy trail design that allows panniers on both sides.

It was done for the 900 scram so I don't see why it couldn't be done for the 1200. Even though the scram is unfaired I'd think it would make a great tour bike. I toured all over on my mag wheel Bonnie with nothing more than a fly screen.

I did a fair bit of touring on my 900 Scram. I fabbed up a support (ok, so I bent a piece of sheet aluminium and drilled a couple of holes) for the exhaust side and just used throw over panniers. Somehow they never caught fire

That's definitely a viable option. Ive used wolfman bags before and the are excellent throw overs.

I will give it some more time but if something doesn't come out by fall (Texas touring weather) I'll be fabing something like what you've described.

I don't know why triumph only did a single pannier.
