That Competition Green is drop-dead gorgeous. If I had the money for a brand new Thruxton, that's the one I'd have!

That Norton is Very tastey.

Masquerading every day as a normal person is exhausting.

That Norton... sweet!

Don't know if you've had a chance to get much seat time on the Speed Twin yet, but would like to hear your thoughts on how the two bikes compare.

I have only done 160 miles on the Triumph so far but it is more refined, 300 cc advantage means more low down torque and the Triumph “thrums” along whereas the Norton needs to be ridden more aggressively, holding onto gears longer (only 5) The Norton is way louder- and not simply due to the open pipes! The Norton is air cooled, the Triumph is water/air so a little different in that respect. Handling wise, they are similar - so far -But the Ohlins on the Norton are MUCH better at absorbing the bumps. The Norton is still the one that gets the “longer looks” before I close the garage door but I am still bonding with the Speed Twin so that might change. For work/commuting either is good but the Norton seeks out the twisties on the way home!

Found a decent photo spot in my neighborhood after throwing some new bits on the bike.
