I was using the steel spoke wheels from the T100 so I suspect with the second disc I will be at the same weight with the use of the floating discs brake.

Thanks. Lovely looking bike. When you do the twin disc conversion, please take step by step photos and post up a thread on it. Thereís a lot of folks who would find that of interest, Iím sure.

I will, keep in mind this is not a cheap mod, Iím sure you could do it for cheaper, but for me, it needed to look like it came of the factory like that so lots of attention to details and oem parts from other Triumph models.

1. I like the look of spoke wheels and after., I needed a wheel that could accommodate dual disc brake to complete my project.

2. I will actually loose a few pounds with the new Alpina wheels including the addition of a new caliper and disc compared to the OEM Triumph cast wheels and original disc.

@ICON636 . Great choice. Looks really good on silver. I went with a different Color not to be too close to a black edition ;-)

I was using Triumph spoke wheels and they are obviously lighter and tubeless.

The reason why I changed is because I am going twin front disc brakes on my ST so I needed a wheel that could accommodate them. Iíve also went with floating discs to shave a few more lbs!

It should be a nice setup when completed in a week or so
