Question Comfort seat worth the money ??

Is this Thriumph Thruxton 1200 Brown Quilted Comfort Rider Seat A2304638 worth the money. The OEM seat is very uncomfortable for me.

For me (235 lbs) it made no difference. But I do like the looks so I kept it on.

Ride safe!

For pretty close to the same price, take a look at a Corbin. You can get it anyway you like.

I can’t speak for the Thruxton seat, but the T120 ‘comfort’ seat is nothing to write home (or here) about. I agree with @Blusideupp Corbin make good stuff, may well be worth a look.

For tall son, 240# & 6' 3"+, it made a big difference. YMMV...

I took my Street Twin seat (uncomfortable after 40 minutes) to an auto upholstery shop and they turned it into a cushy, comfortable seat. I had a two-hour ride recently and had no distress whatsoever on my bum. It cost $80 and worth every penny.

I have the comfort seat on my TTR and I think it is more comfortable than the stock seat. Get it.

Bought mine to carry a pillion once in a great while and to strap a tail bag on tour. It's not UN-comfortable. Not stock saddle air cooled Bonnie uncomfortable, anyway. I still intend to get Spencer to re-stuff it before Spring comes.

Its easy enough to swap seats ( unlike before ) so all you need to do is find someone with an alternative seat and have the nerve to ask them to lend it to you . Hey from a sales point of view it may or may not pay dealers to offer different seats to rent to enable riders to try a variety of them and make an informed choice .
