ST Leather Wrapped Heated Grips

Here's a few pics of brown leather wrapped over Triumph factory heated grips on my wife's Street Twin. I wrapped black leather on mine. Finished the installing yesterday. They feel awesome with the heated grips turned on.

Ordered the leather wrap from Trip Machine Company. GREAT product and company!

Any recommendations to treat the leather to reduce the slip?

You could coat it in rubber.

I rode in a steady rain yesterday to/from work and the grips were excellent. No slippery feel at all. Very pleased!

How have these held up a year or so later?

For $25, it seems like it's worth a shot. Good to know if I ever get heated grips, this is an option too.
