Well, it is a Triump forum...

I've seen the bobber in person. Not a cruiser fan at all, but dang, it is a nice bike. On your build, I'd skip the ape hangers, though. Not my preference on look and they make handling a bit difficult. (but it's your build)

Keep up the mods and make it your own!

Exactly, and I believe Triumph has powered as many or more Bobbers, Cafes, and Choppers as anyone else. That Is what makes the Bobber so legit IMHO.

Wow! That looks great. Thanks for sharing the pics. Anxious to hear about how you like the handling and position / posture on the Bobber now! I am thinking about it simply to change riding position; no more leaning on my hands and wrists.
Love the true Bobber fender, the lights, and plate holder.

I so desperately wanted a bobber. Sat in the gutter ( pavement to usa folk) outside the dealers for months waiting for one to arrive. Hopped on it in the workshop before it even made the showroom floor. It somehow didn't fit me. Walked away very disappointed, but excited about not having to fork out a lot of cash. I took one for a ride some weeks later and compared to my T120 with 8K's on it felt a bit harsh or firm. I think the seat doesn't absorb as much vibration and the firmer suspension is the issue. Both may soften up over time. I will take a well used demo out in a few months time. What prompted me to write this is the photo's shown of the work in progress in this thread is almost identical to what I had planned for one. Good to see what it looks like in the flesh with bars etc.

old bikers never die....they just smell that way

No, not now, but been there done that, back in the 1960's when we fitted apehanger bars, banana seats, kidney crusher back ends & extended forks. All good fun, still like to see them.

Fifty years later we're all searching for parts to turn those very same bikes back to stock. What goes around...........

New Bobber is a real thing now

Currently sitting in my local Triumph dealership & depending on colour if you order today it's a September delivery date.

So far It's proving to very popular although I do agree the price could be more competitive.

Does the dealer say they're selling well in the UK or are they all going over the pond? I have yet to see one in the flesh. Look brill in the pics.
