Figured we needed a new thread for those of us with the SS to show off our bikes! (Especially now that most of us have had them long enough to tweak and personalize them)

Post em up people -

( I gotta go and take a few myself)

Getting There

I have a Retro Tail Harness and some Watsen Design LED indicators from Analog Motorcycles to add this coming weekend, but here's mine so far. I have two more pictures of the guards on the front after this.

Triumph flyscreen, engine bars, and the Fox Performance RSU with piggybacks.
CRG bar-end mirrors
Evotech Rectifier and Radiator Guards

I sanded off and have put several coats on the side cover to get rid of that ugly Street Scrambler logo. I have a local guy doing my Scottish clan's coat of arms on an aluminum number plate to bolt into the cover whenever he gets it done.

Still looking into headlight guards and a proper bash plate to switch out the plastic one.

I've been seriously considering the Analog retro light kit and Watsens for up front. Please post pics when you've got it installed. Would love to see what yours looks like.

I also sprayed out the side cover to get rid of the Street Scrambler graphic. Thinking of doing it on the exhaust side too, but that side doesn't bother me nearly as much.

Analog Kits

I got my Watsen Design front indicators and the retro tail light kit installed today. The fronts were super easy to install, the tail light assembly took a little more work in terms of routing and splicing in a plate light to the tail light. We were so concerned about getting the plate light installed we forgot to tighten up the T30 screws to the fender and I lost some of the hardware on the ride home lol. Went to Ace Hardware and replaced the washers and locking nuts, loosened the plate back out and got everything screwed in.

Everything looks great now, lights are nice and bright, very clean profile. Everything was plug and play, I didn't have to go in to the settings and change anything. They flash a little fast, so maybe it would slow the flash a little if you switched to the LED setting? I stopped off and had a buddy take a few nice photos for me, he should be sending those to me this evening and I will get them uploaded for you fine folks.

The Album

My buddy had to shoot a wedding after and accidentally deleted the pictures so we took some fresh ones this morning while I was testing out my gear layout for a trip next weekend. They are pretty high quality photos and there are quite a few so I'm going to link to the photo album on facebook. If you can't see them or the site disallows outside links I will find another way to get them here. Just reply and let me know if there's any issues.

I think this is everything so far:
-Watsen Design LED front indicators
-Analog Motorcycles Retro Tail Light package with mblaze rear indicators/ Custom Dynamics LED plate lights
-Evotech Performance Rectifier and Radiator Guards
- Triumph flyscreen, engine bars, adjustable levers, CNC machined brake cylinder, head bolt covers
-CRG Lanesplitter mirror
-Fox Performance adjustable rear suspension
-Wilder Factory tank strap

Your bike looks amazing. Well done!
Can you give a brief review of the Watsen indicators? My biggest concern would be the visibility from the side (i.e., changing lanes, will someone see the indicators?).

Watsen Design Indicators

A review of the front indicators for BonnieBlack:

I think they are highly visible! I've had some folks stand off to the side while activating them and they seem to throw off enough light to the sides. If you install and aren't happy with the output at that angle, you could push them out the sides no problem. Until you tighten them back up they can freely spin around on the fork tubes. I was actually thinking of angling mine out just a touch more for this same reason.

The Retro Tail Light Harness gave me more of a problem in regards to license plate light setup. As I mentioned before, I added those LED bolts so it's DOT compliant and they kept shaking loose/ they were also backed right up to the fender so there wasn't much room to get them tightened down well. I didn't want to pull out all the splicing I had done so I loosened them out as much as I could to get behind the license plate. I took some nylon washers and cut them to get them on, and used them as spacers between the plate and the bracket. A little Threadlock and voila! No more shaking loose.

Here's my totally different take.

Cafe Street Scrambler.

Norman Hyde M-Bar
Outlaw Racing Risers (to adapt the handlebar)
Thruxton R Bar end mirrors
Triumph end finishers
Triumph color matched flyscreen with striping (I did the vinyl)
JW Speaker adaptive LED headlight
Black Intake covers
Corbin Street Fighter Seat (for T120
New Rage Cycles LED fork turn signals
New Rage Cycles Street Cup Fender Eliminator
MotoTrio Clutch/ACG covers
Roam Cellphone Mount
Free Spirits Decat
Airbox gutted/debaffled with K&N Filter
Rear Peg Delete

Not installed/extra stuff:
T120 Black Brown bench seat if I need to carry passengers
Triumph Waxed Cotton pannier if I ever need to carry cargo
Triumph Number plate (currently has S.H.I.E.L.D. logo on it but want to redo it at some point)

I'd like to take the Corbin to an upholstery shop and see if they can match the tank color in a vinyl to mimic a cowl for the back section of the seat yet, and maybe wait for slip-ons to hit the market, but I have a feeling I'm otherwise done with this bike and will stop modding past this point. I'd like to upgrade to a Thruxton next season so I'd like to be able to return to stock and repurpose most of the mods to the next bike.

I've since totally flipped the script on my Scrambler and gone a totally different direction now that I have a Thruxton R. It's sort of funny how easily and quickly you can completely swing the look of these bikes from one end of the spectrum to another with just a few details.

Thruxton R Bar end mirrors
Triumph bar end finishers
Triumph color matched flyscreen with striping (I did the vinyl)
LED Headlight bulb
Triumph Headlight Grille
Black Intake covers
eBay 6-way adjustable levers
T120 Seat
T120 Black front turn signals
T120 Black rear turn sgnals
Thruxton R Taillight adapted to the stock fender
Motone Turn signal relocation
Motone Union Jack tank pads
MotoTrio Clutch/ACG covers
Koso Apollo Heated Grips
Roam Cellphone Mount
Vance and Hines Street Twin "Scrambler full exhaust
Airbox gutted/debaffled with K&N Filter
Triumph Pannier
Had an Avengers Number plate, now a Tamarit custom plate #42

Turn off traction control. Take off rolling at like 15mph, hot the clutch, rev it up high and dump the clutch. It's being the front end right up if done right.
And hang on tight. One trick on a bike you don't want to feel "loose" doing.

I just got back from vacation and got to ride a Sea Doo on the ocean. What a blast. It's like riding a motocross track WFO with an almost infinite margin for error.

Darn thing does take a little getting use to though. I kept wanting to countersteer it and go shooting off the wrong way. And there's no being light on the bars of that one either. Hold on loosely to that thing and you're liable to end up swimming.

Thought I’d bump the thread up a little and keep it alive and post some pics of my wee SS...

Still a few things to do, next job is a tail tidy, most likely a Motone one. Then the suspension, looking a Matris cartridge kit up front and matching rear shocks.
