Just picked up a slightly used 18 Speedmaster and wow ... better than I imaged. Just got back from a 50 mile run and yep, Triumph's quality is very apparent.
Came with bar risers, dresser bars and that damn hard ass tan seat.
If anyone is interested in it, let me know. Will be ordering a Corbin ASAP.
Seriously, was surprised by the torque as it pulls really hard. Coming from a 17 Tiger, thought I would be disappointed in the power but nope, very happy!
I agree that a separate tach would be nice. But I just leave the multi-function display set to "tach", so I get a digital readout of my rpms.
Meanwhile, i installed the Triumph analog clock (as well as the thermometer) on the handlebars, so I get all the basic information I need.
#1 - I always want to know my RPM. #2 - I often want to know miles.
Cannot do both with one gauge.......
Use a small meat thermometer stuck below speedometer/multi-gauge.......probe sensing temp is about 4 - 5" below, behind headlight, out of sun, so pretty accurate.
Hate having to do repeated presses of the "i" button to get time too - may add separate bar-mounted clock if I can find a cheap one.
