Motor swap

I know a TT600 motor will swap into a Speed4. Will any of the other variants swap in without it becoming a large project. I have too many of those at this time.

I believe a Daytona 600/650 motor bolts in. I also know the exhaust is a bit different - exhaust ports are a different shape. The fuel injection system is different as well. Define large project!

It's a squid thing. You wouldn't understand.

Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon.

Will,

A large project, as defined by me at this time, is one that consists of many mod's to make it work.

I have a Jag E-Type I am really behind on and don't want the Speed 4 to be much of a time bandit.

Ah. An E-type is a large project just to tune if it's a 12. If you want a straight swap that I'm sure wont' involve rewiring, replacing the exhaust and intake systems, and all that, then look for a TT600 or S4 motor. I don't know if Sagem injection will work with a D6 or D650 motor, nor do I know what kinds of bushings or other mods you might have to make or not make to fit one of those motors into the frame. I'm sure you would have to swap the header to get the best power.

That's the route I want to take. I have to make 25 posts and wait a month to be able to post in the classified section that I am looking for a motor.

Oops, did I just "cheat"?

Not really. Well, maybe, but it's pretty clear you aren't some kind of spammer. No spammer would ever deal with an E-type or an S4.
