I know this is an old thread but just wanted to add to the accumulated knowledge.

The stator from a CBR900/929 works very well in a TT600.

The one I got was a Forseti brand, quality seems quite reasonable and only $130 delivered (in Aus) from here in Brisbane.

Now I just have save up for the SH847AA...

Cheers

It may be an old thread, but the bikes are aging. Stators will continue to be an issue, and keeping them running like they should is worth resurrecting the thread. That's why it's stickied.

It's a squid thing. You wouldn't understand.

Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon.

My 2 cents on this:
My OEM stator died and took the OEM R/R with it.
Replaced with an ElectrexWorld stator and MOSFET FH012AB r/r (from a 675).
Stator died again within 1000km and is being replaced under warranty. R/R was ok, but swapping to SH847 and new loom just to be safe.
