Calling all @Halfpint s... Me thinks you need to work a little harder or find someone who knows what they're doing... These damn Mazda ads are back in force. In some Forums there are 2 Mazda ads where previously there was only one. It looks like they're breeding!!! Better get this under control or all we will have to read when we open up a Sub Forum is freakin Mazda car advertisements!!!

Thanks for the reply on this,

They are our native ads and the techs are figuring out a way to stop this.
No ETA on when a fix is implemented will keep you posted.

Sorry for the inconvenience,

Ed

The Mazda ads pretend to be stickies in the Daytona 675 forum, and I cannot report them, delete them, or do anything about them as a moderator. If I look at the content of the "post" that the Mazda ad is pretending to be, it links to an ad that appears to be a Motorcycle.com promoted ad. Keep that crap up and you will be down a moderator and a member, post haste.

It's a squid thing. You wouldn't understand.

Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon.

The latest news I got is that the techs did some tweaking.
Are you still seeing the ads?

I go out of town for a week and the FREAKIN MAZDA ADS are still showing!!! Yes @Will , the techs who run this Forum are a bunch of incompetent techies…We report issues and all we ever consistently get for a response from @Halfpint is the issue has been escalated and the techs are working on a fix.

Unfortunately the techs NEVER fix the reported issues. This site is a mess and I am about done with it like you.

OK, Halfpint and the rest of you ding-dongs. What does Mazda have to do with Triumph motorcycles? What's the deal here? Is this now the Mazda advertising site with some Triumph content to support those ads? The ads are more and more prevalent, and more an more irritating. I won't buy a Mazda. I didn't want one before, and now I really don't want one.

Get your act together, please.

@Halfpint visited this thread this morning, and chose to ignore my question in post #16. I'm not sure they realize the disrespect they communicate telling us the most the tech's can muster is to "tweak some things", and they can't be bothered to check themselves if the tweak worked or not.

Not sure if this problem persists because VerticalScope doesn't have the technical skill to fix it, or if they simply don't care enough. I suppose either way it doesn't matter, the end effect is that this site is being killed by a thousand cuts like this one and many previous ones just like it.

@Will has let the moderating team that he's no longer willing to help us moderate the site until this is fixed. Believe me, I understand his frustration. There are many long-term members who do care about this site and have invested in it, and are very frustrated by this seeming disregard by the site owners.
