I put a pair of the Mustang pegs on mine, mainly because someone had knackered one of the originals. They only lower by about 3/4", but I like the look. Squaredeals sell em.

Try (knlcycle.com) lowers 3/4" to 1.125" depending on the year.

Can you add some padding into the seat?

The ride might be fun, but at the end, it really is the Destination that counts.

360 degrees adjustment, lowers or rises 40mm. That's more then one and a halve inch. Brake and clutch needs adjusting, but you can accomplish that with the factoryparts. Just rotate them on the spline.

Yes K&L's are fantastic!
I bought a lower pair for my Scrambler and also for my Tiger, I'm 6'4" or so with a bad right knee.
They are beefy for sure. At 220lbs I feel very confident standing on the pegs.

I just bought these on eBay today to see if I can lower my footpegs for a more comfortable leg position. I'll let you know how they feel when installed (and include pics).
