I found the appropriate plugs/sockets to match the 2-pin accessory/GPS outlet and the 3-pin heated grip outlet and made up a couple of harnesses to provide switched and unswitched power to a couple of different dash outlets, a 5V/USB supply, heated grips, a voltmeter and supply for LED driving lamps. It's all neatly inside the fairing.

As expected, the cheap H-7 led headlamp eventually overheated and burned out. I have some more LED's coming, with much better passive cooling. The plan is to run both headlamps as low beam (with the current high-beam side angled down a bit) and a couple of LED spots as the high beam.

I put on a Cal-Sci large (+6?) windshield which provides vastly better wind protection while sitting up tall, than the MRA vario sport and spoiler previously did (which was fine at keeping wind off my chest but left my helmet in noisy air.)

There are a few items still to work on, preparing the bike for a trip to Colorado and points West, in July. The dealer I bought the bike from supposedly changed the oil but did not change the filter so I'll renew both; I stripped and cleaned the brake calipers but have not yet flush the brake fluid; and the chain needs cleaning and closer examination to ensure it has plenty of wear left. I'm trying to figure out an above-dash GPS mount. There's probably a few other things too.

Left-over parts, including Ventura rack, OE bag mounts and the MRA windshield are up for sale. PM me if you're interested and can't wait for me to get my s**t together and post in the "for sale" forum.
