How much louder are D&D without cat?

Just ordered a set of D&Ds because from what I’ve seen/heard/read online they really appealed to me. However, the kit I’m receiving comes with a cat eliminator. How much louder are these slip ons without the cat? I understand the term “loud” is subjective, but Is removing it going to cause unwanted attention from the police? Is it THAT much louder?

I had a set of the DDs on a 2010. I thought the sound was perfect. At one point I tried the decat with the DDs. I thought it was obnoxiously loud with backfire cannon explosions. But remember what's loud to one is perfect to another.

Thank you! I think I’m going without the cat eliminator for now. I’ll keep the kit just in case!
