Cell Phone Holder

Having managed to get slightly lost a couple of times, I figure on getting a cell phone holder and resorting to Waze next time I go riding in unknown areas. I would appreciate input on a stable, reasonably priced unit that will fit an IPhone 6 in an OtterBox case. Adverts are unclear whether the fit for an Iphone will accommodate the sizeable OtterBox case or just the smaller phone without case. Also some review refer to swivels moving with vibration. Would appreciate real experience. Thanks, All.

I use a Ram X mount for my iPhone Xs Max. It's likely the same size as an iPhone 6 with an Otterbox unless you have the iPhone 6+. I usually use the mount for my Garmin but it holds my phone as well. There is vibration while riding but I can still easily read it. It doesn't bounce around so much that it's blurry but it's not perfectly still. The mount itself holds it's position but just the road shock through the frame causes a little shake on bumpy roads. On the interstate or smooth roads you won't notice any shake at all. The mount can rotate vertical or horizontal. I always use it in the horizontal position. With the Garmin it works as a great speedometer as well. Keeps me from having to look down at the tank all the time. I've never had any concern that the Garmin would pop out on any bump. It's held in there very snug.

Thanks bschwartz. I was just in Walmart and picked up a "Zefal" mount in the bicycle section for $15 that seems to fit the bill. Seems to clamp tight and hold phone well. Will give a it a try later.

Check out Quad lock
They make the case for a few popular models and various mounting options. Also if you can't find a case to fit your phone, they do adhesive mounts to make any phone /case compatible. Ive used it on my XSR900 and now on my Street Scrambler. Nice and simple and plenty sturdy enough.

This thing is expensive but I've had mine for a couple of years and it is bulletproof.
