Has anyone changed the exhaust ? Is there a nice deep sounding pipe available ?

Jack-Be-Quick elbows are a very cost effective beginning. ($43 vs $350+) Most who try are quite content with the sound.
There may be a nominal performance gain as well by eliminating the cat.

The ride might be fun, but at the end, it really is the Destination that counts.

@meerkat ,your pipes sound great. You're in Australia though so I'll bet they cost a fortune.

VABird,I saw something like that on youtube somewhere about using conduit to bypass the CAT. Is Jack-Be-Quick a brand ?

JBQ elbows are stainless steel.
PM sent.

The ride might be fun, but at the end, it really is the Destination that counts.

$1350.00 AUD (approx $950.00 USD) that includes postage within Australia.
For a pair of Meerkat mid-length mufflers and crossover /balance pipe, all in stainless steel.

Just crossover/balance pipe is $350.00AUD ($250.00USD) delivered to the States.

Here's an email I received today from the latest recipient, he is having them ceramic coated black.

Hi Peter, put on the balance pipe and mufflers. Wow, Wow Wow and Wow. Fantastic sound without being overly loud. Great throaty sound under acceleration and a great rumble whilst idling. Extremely happy with the result and can't wait for the coaters to open next year. I will send you some pics of the final result. Hope you and your family have a great and safe Xmas period.
Kindest regards,

Mal

I changed mine a while ago. Bought Triumph short pipes and they sound fantastic. They make it a lot easier to do any work at the back end as well.
